[Lone Defender]

wow

not a good wow.... unfortunately, by creating a game like this you are competing with about 90% of all defense games out there...
i found it fairly generic at first, but i went along with it
the thing that got me, was the accuracy. i was shooting at HUGE planes, and 9 times out of 10 i missed. you need to hit the damned hull to damage the plane. the wings should be able to hit...
now, whenever that is a problem in games, okay, fine, upgrade accuracy, blast radius, or just shoot 100 bullets a second at it.... all of those need to be upgraded of course, but in this game, you could only upgrade one per match. which, imo, if i wanted good enough accuracy to hit the big planes i would have to start on accuracy upgrades from the beginning, which left my rate of fire, my damage, and everything else, stupidly low...
there is no way to increase the amount of bonus points you get by good performance. the only incentive you have is to just make sure no planes get across....
anyways, overall, i found it was a very generic game, with some horrible elements to it

i love it

this is probably my second or third favorite game on newgrounds (next to madness interactive or thing thing)
i kindof agree with mystic angel
i think he may have worded it incorrectly by stating "rally points" i found (the same problem in starcraft) is that the ai can command their entire army at once, while you are stuck only being able to command 1 or two units (in this case, 1 or two planets) efficiently (i just stuck to the highlight all planets and click rapidly everywhere technique, it works fine lol)
i cant think of anything else to add

GAAHAHHHH

whats with ppl and not making pause buttons.....
its an addicting game, ive had to go to the bathroom for half an hour now and my wrist is sore
also, add in a few second pause between each wave, where the ball ISNT moving, or where it doesnt damage your castle at least
other than those two things this is a great game, completely original from my knowledge, and well animated

i played it twice
had to quit on my second time tho because i died in front of the castle and was pushed onto is by enemys, when i respawned i was walking at the top of the screen
better get that fixed

i love it, but couldnt get past lvl 32, i was getting too frustrated with it lol

i was on a roll, i had about 50 choppers coming in, 30 plants, and too many bunkers....... had to go to the washroom, and i died.....

for that reason alone, imma give it an 8/10 and 4/5
